As knowledge and experiences relating to COVID-19 continue to evolve, life and everyday activities are subject to change at a moment’s notice. What will never change is my resolve to provide TMJ Massage clients crucial therapies to address continued need of pain relief.
My steadfast intent is to remain open and operational, and to have every client feel confident that TMJ Massage is staying abreast of the abundance of related changes, while taking important and tangible
measures to promote safety.
As the WNY region moves through the various yellow, orange and red New York Micro-Cluster Focus Zones, which are designed to indicate the level of risk, it is important to know that TMJ Massage provides an “essential health care operation” and is permitted to resume when micro-cluster zones are labeled orange or red, providing service to those whose need for massage therapy is “medically necessary”. These actions and permissions are part of NYS Governor’s Executive Order No. 202.68 (EO 202.68).
To continue to maintain appointment schedules and allow me to provide massage services, everyone must furnish me with required verification demonstrating that their need for massage therapy is medically necessary. Please provide a doctor’s note, or prescription via fax or email certifying the need of massage therapy for your health as soon as possible. Please be aware that presenting such documentation does not make my services eligible for payment or reimbursement by health insurance.
